Shan Wai Pu Erh Thee is een gefermenteerde thee uit de Yunnan-provincie in China. Deze thee heeft een kenmerkende aardse smaak en kan variëren van mild en zoet tot diep en complex, afhankelijk van de verouderingsperiode. Pu Erh-thee wordt vaak gerijpt om zijn smaken verder te verdiepen. -
Ingrediënten:
- Pu Erh-theebladeren, die gefermenteerd en geoxideerd zijn om hun karakteristieke smaak en aroma te ontwikkelen.

Bereiding:
- Verwarm water tot net onder het kookpunt (ongeveer 90-95°C).
- Voeg ongeveer 1 theelepel (2-3 gram) Pu Erh-thee toe aan een theepot of infuser.
- Giet het hete water over de thee en laat deze 2-5 minuten trekken, afhankelijk van hoe sterk je de thee wilt.
- Zeef de bladeren en serveer de thee.

Shan Wai Pu Erh Thee heeft doorgaans een volle, aardse smaak met hints van hout en leer. Oudere Pu Erh-thee kan een complexere en soepelere smaak ontwikkelen. -
